Job Purpose
- To take responsibility for the sale of products and/or services to a specific group of customers that is active in a specific market segment or within a specific region (i.e. The Philippines), in order to expand market share
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Area Manager (AM) in implementing the sales strategy in the allocated area
- Support the commercial development of the BAN business in the allocated area and expand sales of the product portfolio
- Support the distribution network
- Provide after sales service for established customers (end Users)
- Follow up and report market trends and competitors information
- Coordinate and tackle with customer success department and area manager specific technical questions arising from customers or distributors
- Support forecasting of the Area Manager
- Maintain and further build on the commercial contacts with customers portfolio to ensure that set turnover (budget) is realized
- Conclude (short term) contracts
- Elaborate and draw up quotations (PFI) in consultation with AM and RSD
- Remain well informed and updated about market and customer evolutions and developments in the allocated area
- Establish and maintain a customer (end user) database. Transfer to CRM when salesforce goes online.
- Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrates company’s capability by explaining how company’s products and services match a customer’s explicit needs
- Frequent reporting to line manager
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in the animal rearing industry preferably aquaculture
- Bachelor degree or similar
Personal attributes/characteristics
- Good English (verbal & written) skills
- Proven skills of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred
- Service minded
- Target focused
- Flexible
- Ability to work as a team member but also independently
- Show interest in technical development
Reports to: Area Manager SEA
Location: Flexible within the allocated region, Frequent travel required
