Santa Elena, Ecuador – May 15, 2025
As part of its ongoing commitment to improving service efficiency, Invecuador has inaugurated a new strategic warehouse located in Santa Elena, via Punta Carnero. This investment not only strengthens the company’s presence in the coastal region but also reinforces its role as a reliable partner for hatcheries and producers in one of the country’s most vibrant aquaculture zones.

A Strategic Location to Meet Regional Needs
Santa Elena is one of Ecuador’s key hubs for aquaculture activities, with an increasing number of hatcheries and farms requiring timely and consistent access to specialized products. By establishing a local warehouse, Invecuador is addressing these needs directly — reducing logistical barriers, minimizing lead times, and enhancing its ability to deliver high-quality solutions where and when they’re needed most.
“This new warehouse allows us to be closer to our clients and better aligned with their operational needs,” explained Fernando Cevallos, Area Manager for Central America and Ecuador. “It’s a step forward in strengthening our logistical backbone along the coast, and it reflects our long-term vision for serving the aquaculture sector more effectively.”

Technical Capabilities and Storage Flexibility
The newly inaugurated warehouse is equipped for both dry and cold storage, allowing Invecuador to preserve and manage INVE’s full range of products and solutions under optimal conditions. This includes hatchery feeds, health treatments, probiotics, live food, and water conditioners — all readily available to support the specific needs of our customers with speed and reliability.
This storage flexibility plays a key role in ensuring product integrity and consistent performance, particularly in a region where environmental and operational challenges require robust and responsive supply chain solutions. The facility has been designed to guarantee that temperature-sensitive and time-critical products reach customers safely and without delay.
“The opening of this warehouse is fully aligned with INVE’s global strategy: being closer to our customers and offering immediate solutions to their needs,” said Fernando García, Commercial Director. “Having products readily available here will make a real difference — it ensures our clients can access our technologies exactly when they need them most.”

Empowering Local Partnerships
For long-standing clients like Laboratorio Megalatina, the opening of this new facility brings immediate, practical benefits.
“Knowing that we now have an INVE warehouse right here in Santa Elena makes a big difference for us as hatchery operators,” said Selene Rodríguez, from Laboratorio Megalatina. “Having immediate access to the supplies we need — especially when urgent needs arise — helps us avoid delays and keep operations running smoothly.”
Her words highlight a common challenge in the industry: last-minute requirements that can jeopardize continuity if the right inputs aren’t readily available. By enabling same-day or next-day delivery for critical products, the new warehouse helps mitigate this risk and provides peace of mind for producers working in fast-paced environments.

A Broader Vision of Growth and Modernization
The Santa Elena warehouse is not an isolated investment. It forms part of a broader modernization strategy to reinforce Invecuador’s logistics network nationwide — with the aim of supporting a growing client base with the same high standard of service across all regions.
This expansion also underlines Invecuador’s commitment to sustainable development. By reducing transport distances and improving planning, the company can not only serve its clients better but also lower its environmental footprint — a key consideration in today’s responsible aquaculture practices.
