The collaboration expands live food options for Ecuadorian larviculture
Ahead of AquaExpo International, one of the most important events for the global shrimp industry, INVE Aquaculture and Santa Priscila signed a collaboration agreement on October 15 to offer an Artemia paste to shrimp hatcheries in Ecuador. It is a practical, convenient and biosecure solution designed for daily hatchery operations.

The announcement comes as producers, suppliers and experts from across the sector prepare to gather in Guayaquil to exchange ideas and discuss the future of shrimp farming. Ecuador has established itself as a global leader in shrimp production, and the performance of its hatcheries is at the heart of that success.
The agreement responds to growing demand among Ecuadorian hatcheries for Artemia solutions that simplify operations without compromising biosecurity or larval performance. As Artemia experts, INVE Aquaculture remains committed to improving operational efficiency and responding to its customers’ evolving needs. With this partnership, hatcheries gain one more option in their feeding programs and can choose the format that best fits their facilities and protocols.
The collaboration combines INVE Aquaculture’s expertise in Artemia, built over more than four decades, with Santa Priscila’s extensive experience in producing nauplii paste for its own operations, alongside its in-depth knowledge of the Ecuadorian shrimp industry.
“For us, commercial partnerships start with understanding what the market needs and bringing together the right expertise to deliver the best solutions,” says Fernando Garcia, Commercial Director at INVE Aquaculture. “Ecuador is a key market for us, and we’re excited about this next step and what we can achieve together for Ecuador’s shrimp industry.”
