As a biotech aquaculture company with over 40 years of experience, INVE is deeply committed to sustainable, science-driven, and future-focused aquaculture solutions. Founded in 1983 as Artemia Systems — a Ghent University spin-off — the company has consistently combined scientific excellence with an entrepreneurial spirit to help the industry grow responsibly and efficiently.

This new partnership with Kasetsart University builds on several recent joint achievements, including:

  • Knowledge-sharing seminars and technical exchanges between INVE experts and Kasetsart students and faculty
  • Hands-on training programs designed to equip students with practical, industry-ready skills
  • The creation of a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to Artemia hatching, enrichment, and processing

Aquaculture is evolving rapidly, and biotechnology  plays a defining role in shaping its future. Through this partnership with Kasetsart University, we are not only advancing science but also creating a platform to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of innovators. Together, we aim to set new standards for sustainable and responsible aquaculture across Asia and beyond. Olivier Decamp, R&D and Business Development Director at INVE Aquaculture

Looking ahead, the collaboration will focus on expanding knowledge exchange and creating new opportunities for students, researchers, and industry professionals across Asia. Planned initiatives include internships, collaborative fieldwork, and academic support for student research and theses — further strengthening the bridge between biotech-driven innovation and academic research.

Representatives from INVE Aquaculture, Kasetsart University, and the Sriracha Fisheries Research Station gathered after the signing ceremony.

With this agreement, INVE Aquaculture and Kasetsart University are taking another step toward shaping the future of sustainable aquaculture, driving innovation, and preparing the next generation of aquaculture professionals.
