PT Suri Tani Pemuka, Indonesia (1)
Benefiting from its situation as a vast archipelago of islands with a stable coastal water temperature of 26°C, Indonesia has established itself as one of the largest shrimp producing countries in Asia. One of the biggest (and one of the few fully integrated) shrimp operators in Indonesia is PT Suri Tani Pemuka, the aquaculture subsidiary of the Japfa Comfeed company.
PTSTP has built or renovated all of its hatcheries on the islands to fit the company’s operational standards. All variable factors such as water temperature and salinity, feed formulations and protocols are optimized and stardardized in order to improve culture performance.
Consistent processes and nutrition protocols in the hatchery lead to better results in the grow-out stages.
