Kiliç Deniz, Turkey (2)
With a 40.000 ton annual production capacity for seabream, seabass and trout, Kılıç Deniz is Turkey’s biggest and one the Mediterranean’s leading aquaculture companies.
100% of the company’s sea cage farms are operated in an off-shore system. Especially designed ships are used to transport seed fish to the cages. Kılıç deploys this specialized fleet to supply seed fish to all countries in the Mediterranean basin.
In Turkey, aquaculture and tourism had to find a balance to protect our source of income: a clean Mediterranean.
