Working towards a sustainable shrimp industry at the 11th Philippine Shrimp Congress
From November 16th – 18th INVE Aquaculture contributed to the 11the Philippine Shrimp Congress at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City.
Central theme of this year’s event was “Sustainable Shrimp Industry: Unified Direction towards Productivity and Growth.”
Together with our local distributor Biosolutions, we met over 1.200 congress visitors for an interesting exchange of thoughts about the future of Philippine shrimp production.
Apart from introducing novelties such as our sisters company Tom Algae’s product Thalapure, we also provided speakers for some well-received keynote presentations on hatchery, nursery and farm topics and techniques.
- Alfredo Medina presented INVE Aquaculture’s ”Roadmap to quality shrimp fry”.
- Manuel Poulain explained the crucial importance of the nursery for a stable shrimp production.
